INSTRUCTIONS AND PATTERN FROM 34 TO 48

Evening dress, long and all in transparency and lightness, perfect for the end-of-year celebrations! It consists of two parts: a slip styled like a shirt and an outer dress in mesh. The latter is made up of gathered flounces like a petticoat. The wide neckline allows the head to pass easily without an opening system. The butterfly sleeves add to the lightness already present thanks to the transparency of the dress and its airy effect. The effect of the mesh on the skin brings contrast with the opacity of the slip.

I imagined 4 variations by playing with the arrangement and size of the flounces to allow you to create this dress in your own style…

Overall, the recommended fabrics are:

• soft mesh or lace for the outer dress for a fluid look, muslin (which will give more opacity), or organza for a more structured result with body

• viscose or lightweight cotton for the slip

WARNING with stretch lace and mesh that lengthen the pattern under the weight of the dress and need to be sewn with a stretch stitch.
