Imagine Marie-Antoinette in a light dress in the gardens of the Petit Trianon, then add a touch of modernity:
you get the Gabrielle dress. Elegant and airy, it charms with its milkmaid silhouette.
Its open rectangular neckline gives the dress all its character. Although the bodice has a corset-like appearance, it is comfortable and adjustable to flatter different bust shapes. The opening is concealed at the side with an invisible zipper. Play with the armhole ruffles to create volume. The long skirt elongates the silhouette for a strikingly feminine look.

Finished dress length
The pattern is drafted for a height of 1.70 m. If you wish, you can shorten or lengthen the bodice at the waist. The skirt measures 1 m from the waist to the feet. You can shorten or lengthen it at the hem by the desired amount. For the short version, the skirt is 50 cm long from the waist and should finish above the knee.
