Pelagia is the feminine and structured dress just right.
Its wrap bodice buttoned on the side is highlighted by a refined shawl collar and princess seams that beautifully follow the curves.

Two finishes are offered for the bodice: a clean version, or a play of seams in the style of flat pleats which add depth and character. The whole is lined for flawless finishes, with or without sleeves.

For the sleeves, you can choose a sleeveless version neatly finished with a facing, or short puffed sleeves set on a delicately gathered cuff.

Pelagia comes as a top or a dress, with a flowing and dancing skirt made of panels, to sew in a short or asymmetrical version according to your wishes… and of course, with pockets !

By sewing Pelagia, you will learn to:
 Sew darts
 Make facing finishes
 Sew a shawl collar
 Sew inset pockets
 Sew princess seams

Pelagia is a dress that fits relatively close to the body, nipped at the waist. However, the cut of the pattern offers some ease at the waist and the fullness of the skirt allows you to disregard the hip measurement. Use your bust measurement to choose your size.
Choose the closest size.
If your waist measurement is more than 2 sizes above your bust measurement, it is better to grade between the two bust sizes down to the waist.

The pattern is designed for a height of 168 cm.

The size chart

Top with sleeves (sleeveless):
32-40 : 130 cm of fabric (110 cm)
42-52 : 170 cm of fabric (120 cm)

Dress with sleeves (sleeveless):
32-40 : 280 cm of fabric (250 cm)
42-52 : 300 cm of fabric (290 cm)

Asymmetrical skirt version:
Add 30 cm of fabric

Long skirt version:
32-40 : Add 150 cm of fabric
42-52 : Add 200 cm of fabric

In addition to the fabric, you will need :
6 (5 + 1) buttons (Ø 12 mm)
60 cm of lightweight interfacing
matching thread
Sleeveless version: 120 cm of fusible interfacing

The Pelagia dress is designed to be sewn in a non-stretch fabric, rather flowing. Depending on the season and the desired effect, you can choose a thicker or thinner fabric: twill or poplin of viscose, tencel, linen viscose, etc. Since the bodice is lined, it is essential to use the same fabric as the outside, because the visible part of the shawl collar is actually the so-called "lining" piece. For the top version, you can allow yourself a fabric with a bit more body. However, for the dress versions, favor fluidity to avoid a skirt that is too bulky.

Pelagia is an intermediate-level pattern, it covers techniques that require care (shawl collar, princess seam, English seam), but all remain accessible to motivated sewers eager to improve! The various diagrams found in the booklet as well as the video tutorial available on the YouTube channel
