The Leslie dress is characterized by a bust yoke that recalls the cuts of a corset. It is a rather close-fitting dress, which also has a back neckline (bra compatible).

You can break the very feminine side of the dress by sewing it in a thick ribbed knit, to wear with sneakers.

You will need for making the Leslie dress or t-shirt:

IN A WIDTH OF 1M40:

For sizes 34 - 50, long-sleeve dress version 2m of fabric

For sizes 34 - 50, short-sleeve dress version 1m70 of fabric

For sizes 34 - 50, long-sleeve t-shirt version 1m10 of fabric

For sizes 34 - 50, short-sleeve t-shirt version
80cm of fabric

1 spool of thread 

Making advice

For the Leslie dress, you will need a fabric with 40 - 50% elasticity, light to medium weight (up to 250 g/m2). If you choose a more elastic fabric, be sure to size down the pattern!

You can use cotton jersey, polyester, a ribbed knit, or a knitted fabric. I advise avoiding sweatshirt-type materials.

Choose your usual size for the Leslie dress; if your fabric is more elastic than recommended, I suggest sizing down!

I am wearing the dress in size 38 and my measurements are 90 - 70 - 94.

If you have a large bust, I recommend enlarging the bust yoke by 2 cm at the bottom (and subtracting 2 cm from the front piece at the top accordingly)
