The In the sun dress is a lovely dress in tune with the times, featuring ruffles and small gathers!
Very feminine with its strap cut into which a pretty ruffle of discreet proportions is inserted, it is also very comfortable to wear thanks to its fullness.
You can make a very simple version without the ruffle, like the black and white graphic silk version shown in the product photos.
Offered as a top, it also works very well.
SIZES : Pattern sheet ranging from size 34 to 46, corresponding to a bust measurement from 81 to 108 cm.
FABRIC : Can work with many lightweight fabrics; the fluidity of the material will greatly affect the garment’s appearance.
A stiff fabric will give more volume with the gathers than a more flowing fabric.
DIFFICULTY: All sewing levels
Recommended yardage for fabric 140cm wide:
- For the dress version: 160 cm for sizes 34 to 40 / 180 cm for sizes 42 to 46
- For the blouse version: 120 cm for sizes 34 to 38 / 140 cm for sizes 40 to 46

- An erasable pen such as a “Pilot Frixion” to mark the neckline seam line (optional)
