Birk is designed as a first garment project. The blouse consists of two main pieces, with bust clips, a boat neckline, and bias tape finishes. The dress adds dropped shoulders, voluminous ruffle sleeves, a full skirt, and a drawstring waist.

RECOMMENDED FABRICS
Light to medium weight woven fabric, fluid with little to no stretch: lightweight cotton, poplin, seersucker, gingham, double gauze, linen, viscose, or silk.
NOT RECOMMENDED FABRICS
Very stiff or heavy fabrics and all knits.
