Elena was designed for your summer evenings or to wear with tights and ankle boots/sneakers for mid-season.
The dress features a wide ruffle on the top front and back, a beautiful gathered skirt, elasticated sleeves at the wrist, and a collar to give it a shirt-like effect. It is open all along the front and will close with a multitude of buttons.
With this pattern you can have fun by modifying the length, sleeves, or ruffles!

Recommended materials
I made my dress in a linen and viscose blend, you can use other materials, such as chambray, viscose, tencel, linen, polyester, cotton, poplin.
Fabrics
- 2.80 meters of fabric with a 1.40 meter width (or 3.20 meters for a long version)
- Fusible interfacing for your collar and collar stand (maybe even the button placket if you use a thin fabric)
Supplies
- 11 buttons in the diameter you want (shirt type)
- About 40 cm of 1.5 cm wide elastic
