Querida is a sewing pattern for a ruffled skirt for girls, available from 2 to 16 years old.

The skirt can be short, mid-length, or long.

Its waistband is high and very comfortable. It can be made either with elastic thread to create faux smocking or with elastic bands inserted into casings.

The junction between two ruffles can be decorated with trims sewn directly onto the skirt, or with inserts / ladder lace sewn between the two ruffles, creating a transparency effect.

You can also make a rolled hem on the top of a ruffle that will be left visible at the bottom of the ruffle above.

Querida is a pattern without paper pattern pieces, made only of fabric rectangles. This allows you to easily increase or decrease the height of the different ruffles to adjust the final length according to your taste, or increase or decrease the width to give more or less volume.
