With the mini skirt pattern "The Lilly Skirt," you can easily sew a short skirt without a sewing machine, using hand sewing techniques. The skirt is short and closes with snap buttons in the side seam. The skirt pattern includes patch pockets on the front. Juliana shows you simple hand sewing and embroidery techniques with written and illustrated sewing instructions and a step-by-step sewing tutorial. The skirt is available from XS to XXXL.

Required materials 

  • Thick fabric that does not fray, with a fabric width of at least 147 cm: XS-XXXL: 1.05 m
  • about 60 m of wool for embroidery
  • Embroidery tip
     : For the Lilly skirt, for example, we use felted loden certified Oeko-Tex, 100% virgin wool, weighing 405 g/m². The pattern is designed for a non-stretch fabric. We recommend making a sample with the final fabric before sewing.
