To make the Caroline skirt, a wide choice of fabric is compatible! I recommend a corduroy (wales or wide ribs), a fine wool fabric, a thick wool fabric, a tweed, a cotton gabardine, cotton twill, denim...
Avoid fluid or too thin fabrics. 

Necessary supplies

You will need for making the Caroline skirt: 

- For sizes 34-38, 60 cm of fabric in a 1.40m width.

- For sizes 40-42, 80 cm of fabric in a 1.40m width.

- For sizes 44-50, 1m of fabric in a 1.40m width. 

- A matching spool of thread

- An invisible zipper of 20 or 22cm
