Multi-option jumpsuit/trousers/shorts

MILLÉNIUM is a sewing pattern for a jumpsuit or trousers/shorts with multiple options. With its 3 basic VERSIONS and numerous variations and options, you can sew jumpsuits, trousers, and shorts with varied looks, for everyday life, going out, or relaxing at home. The possibilities are very numerous and there is something for every season!

❥ Whatever the chosen VERSIONS/OPTIONS, MILLÉNIUM is elasticated at the waist. The loose cut offers comfortable ease. All sleeve options are compatible with the jumpsuit VERSIONS A and B. The leg, cut straight and wide, has the particularity of being cut in one piece, so there is no side seam on the legs.

❥ The patch pocket option is compatible with all VERSIONS.

MODEL STRUCTURE

❥ THE 3 BASIC VERSIONS

VERSION A : jumpsuit or trousers/shorts with a buttoned top (front or back). The bodice of this version has bust darts. You can choose to place the buttoning at the front or back, which then offers different options:

FRONT BUTTONING

• OPTION WITHOUT COLLAR (round neckline)
• OPTION TAILORED COLLAR
• OPTION PETER PAN COLLAR
• OPTION RUFFLED COLLAR

BACK BUTTONING

• OPTION WITHOUT COLLAR (round neckline)
• OPTION PETER PAN COLLAR
• OPTION V-NECK AT THE BACK (compatible with ruffled collar)
• OPTION RUFFLED COLLAR

VERSION B : jumpsuit or trousers/shorts with a wrap-style top. The bodice of this version has no bust darts as it is gathered at the shoulders and waist, thus providing sufficient fullness. This VERSION is sewn without a collar and with a buttoned back to facilitate putting it on.

VERSION C : basic trousers or shorts. Add more femininity to your trousers or shorts with the “paper bag style” bonus, which has a dedicated technical sheet (to read before starting!)

LEVEL : young Padawan / Jedi knight (beginner/intermediate depending on the version)

To sew MILLÉNIUM in autumn/winter: wool crepe, smooth or corduroy velvet, fine woollen fabric, wool flannel…

To sew MILLÉNIUM in spring/summer: cotton, linen, fine and soft denim, fine twill, chambray, crepe, tencel, silk, viscose, lyocell…

VERSION B wrap-style: choose a fluid and/or heavy fabric such as Lyocell, tencel, crepe, viscose, silk, bamboo jersey…
OPTION long sleeves with turned-back cuffs : choose a fabric with body that holds creases when ironed.
