Pattern printed of the shirt My monster by Dress Your body (34 to 46) - fr
The Louise shirt, although classic, finds its originality in its beautiful looseness and many lovely details.
- A shirt collar or a straight collar,
- "Decorative" plackets to position on the pocket or horizontally on the button placket,
- "Trompe l’oeil" button placket,
- Chest pocket created by a cut on the front,
- A pronounced shirttail shape with the back longer than the front,
- Finished hem with bias tape,
- A box pleat at the back,
- Wide cuffs with a tear-proof slit and two box pleats.

THE DIFFERENT VERSIONS
- The Louise shirt pattern is offered with 2 different collars. The classic shirt collar and the straight collar, on which you can sew a small button placket.
You can then play with the positioning of the second placket which can be located:- on the chest pocket to close it,
- or horizontally on the button placket.

WHICH SIZE SHOULD I CHOOSE?
SIZES:
The Louise pattern ranges from size 34 to size 52.
Choose your size as usual based on your measurements and the size chart below:
If you hesitate between 2 sizes, choose the larger one because it is easier to adjust a garment than to enlarge it! However, note that the shirt's looseness is significant and you can easily choose to sew it one size smaller than yours for a slightly more fitted finish.

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS:
The finished garment measurements below (including garment ease) can also help you choose your size.

HEIGHT:
- The pattern is designed for a height of 1.65m and the center back length is a good indicator to know if you need to lengthen or shorten the pattern. Keep in mind, however, that the Louise shirt is asymmetrical. It is longer in the back than in the front.
- If you want to change the length, cut the pattern along the designated cut lines and add or remove the desired amount by spreading apart or overlapping the two pattern pieces by the number of cm wanted.
- Make sure the center back and front remain straight and redraw the side seams.
- Remember to recalculate the fabric yardage needed to account for your adjustments!

For my height of 1.60m, I removed 2cm from the length of the shirt as well as from the sleeve length.
