The Eyra Shirt meets the blouse standards in a modern and feminine way with its lovely details. The shirt closes with a hidden button placket, offering a sophisticated and contemporary silhouette. The sleeves add a touch of originality; they are puffed and open along their length. They end with cuffs that can be buttoned or tied, as you prefer.

By sewing Eyra, you will learn to:
- Sew a hidden button placket
- A facing with a neat finish
- A sleeve cuff
- Open sleeves
- An untearable slit

For this shirt, mainly consider your bust measurement. If your hip measurement is more than one size (or more) above your bust measurement, it is better to grade between the two sizes from the bust to the hips.

The Eyra Shirt is designed to be sewn in a non-stretch fabric.
Depending on the season and the look you want, you can choose fabrics that are more or less fluid and that crease more or less: cotton or viscose poplin, viscose twill, tencel, gingham, crepe, etc.
The pattern includes a facing, so avoid transparent fabrics or take this into account.

Short sleeves:
150 cm of fabric (at 140 cm width)
Long sleeves:
– 180 cm of fabric (at 140 cm width)
With collar, add:
40 cm of fabric (at 140 cm width)

In addition to the fabric, you will need:
80 cm of lightweight fusible interfacing
6 buttons (Ø 12 mm)
+ 4 buttons for the buttoned cuffs

Level: 3/5

Time: 3/5

It is preferable to have sewn a few pieces before sewing the Eyra Shirt, but the various diagrams in the booklet as well as the video tutorial available on the YouTube channel and accessible via QR code during sewing will guide you through making your shirt!
