Josten is a perfect top to prepare for summer’s arrival. You can also easily turn this top into a dress!
It consists of a double peplum on the front and back, small gathered sleeves at the shoulders, and the back neckline of the top is deeply rounded (but compatible with wearing a bra).

Recommended materials
I made my top in embroidery, you can use other scalloped materials, like broderie anglaise, lace, or a basic material with a pretty selvedge…
You can also make your blouse in silk, cotton, poplin, crepe, taffeta, viscose, tencel… You will just need to add the hem allowances on the pattern.
Fabrics
- 1.5m of fabric per 140 width (if you use a material with scallops) // 1.70 meters for sizes 42 and up) of fabric on 1.40 meter width
OR - 70cm of fabric per 140 width (if you use a material without scallops) // 80cm for sizes 42 and up) of fabric on 1.40 meter width
- 50cm of lining on 1.40 width
