PDF - Digital Pattern for the Léonie blouse multiversions by Mimoï from size 34 to 46 (French and English)
// PDF Pattern A4, US Letter compatible // French – English // Sizes 34 to 46 //
A small versatile blouse to satisfy all your desires!
The basic pattern of the Léonie blouse consists of 3 fronts, 2 backs, and 2 sleeve versions.
The cut of the Léonie blouse is designed to sit on the body without restricting it.
Its waist is very slightly shaped and the shoulder is fitted, which makes it delicate and feminine.
Front version A:
In the middle of this front is a rounded pleat, on each side it is framed by 2 overlapping flat pleats.
Front version B:
It consists of a lace inset highlighted on each side by 2 spaced flat pleats.
Front version C:
This one is very simple and offers you the possibility to embellish it with the collars and the “big bow” from the options pack, or even to hack it as you wish!
Back version A:
It is fully buttoned and a gently rounded seam dresses it delicately.
Back version B:
The rounded seam is still present and offers a slit that closes with a loop and a small button.
Cap sleeve:
This tiny, wildly delicate sleeve is slightly gathered.
The finishes are made with clean-finish strips cut on the bias.
Balloon sleeve:
Here too, the sleeve head is slightly gathered while the sleeve bottom tightens with small gathers held by a cuff.
The options:
You will find in the options pack:
- a rounded flat collar (Peter Pan collar)
- a pointed flat collar
- a flat collar with “small bow”
- a “big bow” embellishment
The finishes of the 3 collars are made with clean-finish strips cut on the bias.
The finish of the “big bow” is done using facings on front and back edged with bias binding.
The “big bow” fits only the back of version B!
The PDF file contains:
- The instructions.
- The PDF patterns to print in A4 format, seam allowances already included.
- Clear and detailed illustrated assembly guides as well as instructions for printing and assembling your patterns. Since the Léonie blouse is modular, the PDF file consists of several folders and subfolders.
Fabrics:
Yardages: Given the many possible versions, it is difficult to give you an exact yardage…
Allow between 150 and 180 cm of fabric for a width of 140 cm.
Materials: Cotton, silk, linen, viscose, tencel, chambray, lightweight wool, flannel…
Supplies:
For front A and B, I recommend having a washable marker to trace the pleat lines.
Front B: “entre deux” lace 2.5 cm x 60 cm
Back A: buttons x7, 12 mm recommended, fusible interfacing for button plackets
Back B: button x1
Options pack: fusible interfacing for all collars
Difficulty:
The main difficulty lies in sewing the topstitching at 1mm.
The pleats and lace inset may seem daunting but with precision in preparation they do not present major sewing challenges.
To know your size, measure yourself with a tape measure and refer to the chart below.
The “hip” measurement is taken 20cm below the waist.
