 The Friends bohemian dress, elegant and comfortable, is just waiting to accompany you this summer on long walks along the beach, over a drink with friends, or during lovely summer evenings.

The pattern for the Friends dress/blouse ranges from size 34 to 46.

Choose your usual size based on your measurements and the size chart. But know that for this loose model, the bust measurement is the main one to consider.

If you are between two sizes, you can take the smaller one unless you really want a very loose fit for the model.

The pattern is designed for a height of 1.65 m.

Remember to lengthen or shorten the dress or blouse according to your preference.

To help you, below are the back center height and sleeve length.

  1. Sleeve length: Size 34: 56.5cm / 36: 57.5cm / 38: 58.5cm / 40: 59.5cm / 42: 60.5cm / 44: 61.5cm / 46: 62.5cm
  2. Back center height
    Dress version:     Size 34 to 40: 126cm / 42 to 46: 127cm
    Blouse version: Size 34 to 38: 62.5cm / 40 to 42: 63cm / 44 to 46: 63.5cm

The Friends blouses and dresses can be sewn in many different fabrics. You can choose either fluid fabrics such as viscose, tencel, or stiffer fabrics like poplin, linen, which will give more structure and volume to your garment….

Recommended fabric length for 140cm wide fabric:

  • Blouse version:
    Size 34 and 36: 150cm / 38: 155cm / 40: 160cm / 42 and 44: 170cm / 46: 180cm
  • Dress version:
    Size 34 to 38: 280cm / 40: 290cm / 42 to 46: 300cm

Other supplies:

  • 2 elastic bands 7mm wide approximately for the sleeves
    The total length needed for both sleeves is:
    Size 34: 46cm / 36: 48cm / 38: 50cm / 40: 52cm / 42: 54cm / 44: 56cm / 46: 58cm

 

  • Pattern sheet ranging from size 34 to 46, corresponding to a bust measurement of 81 to 108cm
