Ellie is a blouse with an underbust seam that ends with a gathered peplum.

The front and back bodice as well as the cuffs are decorated with knife pleats. You can also make the blouse without the pleats.

Its sleeves are short and puffed, finishing with a fitted cuff.
Ellie will close with a button and a loop at the center back keyhole.

Recommended materials

I made my blouse in dotted cotton; for this pattern you can use many materials, such as washed cotton, poplin, chambray, linen, broderie anglaise… If you want to make the version with pleats, it’s important to have a fabric that isn’t slippery, so you can make the pleats easily.
