❥ The BANANA SPLIT bag closes at the front with a large zipper. The back features a small zipped pocket ideal for slipping in a mobile phone, keys, cards, etc. You can choose the strap according to your wishes: cotton, braided, faux leather… The sliding buckle will allow you to adjust it to your liking.

To sew BANANA SPLIT you can use gabardine, cotton twill, velvet, woollen cloth, jacquard. Be sure to choose a fabric with good body, not too “soft” (between 300 and 350 g/m2). Leather, faux leather, or suede are also possible choices, more suited to experienced sewers. You can line your waist bag with a medium or fine but rather stiff fabric: poplin, linen, percale, etc. However, some lining pieces will need to be interfaced to gain rigidity. This is a project that uses little fabric, so take the opportunity to make good use of your fabric scraps!
