You need to use a knit fabric such as jersey to make your T-shirt.

For the woven part, you can use a fabric with some body so that the yoke holds well like a canvas, twill, denim…

You can also use a thicker jersey for the yokes.

Fabrics: (Yardage on a 140cm width)

Sizes XS to L: Fabric A: 140cm / B: 25cm

Sizes XL to XXL: Fabric A: 150cm / B: 25cm

Interfacing: 20cm

Haberdashery: 4 metal snap buttons 10mm

Fabric / knit advice: This pattern was designed to be made in knit fabric like jersey. If you use woven fabric, you won’t be able to fit into it because it will lack ease. Please make sure your knit fabric is stretchy in both directions. If it is not, favour stretch across the width rather than along the length.

Sewing ideas: Have fun with elbow patches and yokes using a patterned fabric or play with tone-on-tone.
