Pattern printed of the Touraco top by Instinct Couture (size 32 to 52)

The Touraco Top is a knitted garment with a very feminine cut. This top fits close to the body and follows the curves. The charm of this model lies in its necklines. A gathered sweetheart neckline adorns the front bodice, and the back is highlighted by a square neckline. The neckline is bordered on each side by two elastic bands that add originality to this model.
You have the option to sew this top with short or long sleeves. The sleeves are puffed and gathered at the wrist with a cuff.

 By sewing the Touraco, you will learn to:
       Measure an elasticity rate
       Choose your knitted fabric
       Sew lastin

For this top, mainly consider your bust measurement. If your hip measurement is more than two sizes larger than your bust, it is better to grade between the two sizes from bust to hips.

If you are between two sizes, choose the smaller size.

Recommended fabrics

The Touraco Top should be sewn in a knit fabric with an elasticity rate between 20 and 40% (see below). You can choose cotton jersey (I do not recommend viscose jersey) or ribbed or textured knits. Fabrics with body, such as Milano or Verona, are perfectly suited for sewing the Touraco (provided they have the necessary elasticity).
