The Impala Top is a knit top that is both very comfortable to wear and as feminine as can be. This top is close-fitting and hugs the curves. The charm of this model lies in its neckline. It is very rounded and then ends in a point. You have the option to sew this top in tank top, short sleeve, or long sleeve versions, classic or puffed.

By sewing Impala, you will learn to:
Measure an elasticity rate
Choose your knit fabric
Use a V separator

For this top, mainly consider your bust measurement. If your hip measurement is more than 2 sizes above your bust measurement, it is preferable to grade between the two sizes from bust to hips.

If you are between two sizes, take the smaller size.

Recommended fabrics

The Impala Top should be sewn in a knit fabric with an elasticity rate between 20 and 40%. You can opt for cotton jersey (I do not recommend viscose jersey) or ribbed or textured knits. Fabrics with structure, such as Milano or Verona, are perfectly suited for sewing the Impala (provided they have the necessary elasticity).

The Impala Top is suitable for beginners who have already sewn knitwear or who are eager to learn! It is preferable to have already sewn a few pieces, but the different diagrams found in the booklet as well as the video tutorial available on the YouTube channel and accessible via the QR code during the courses will guide you during the making of your top!
