Pattern printed of the Renardeau T-shirt by Instinct Couture (newborn to 24 months)
The Renardeau T-shirt is the must-have of the toddler wardrobe
To be worn with a Faon Overalls or simply with pants or a skirt.
This model opens and closes with snaps. Four variations are offered in this pattern: button placket on the front or back, at the neckline, and finally at the raglan seam.
Two shapes are available, classic or raglan sleeves. For the bottom of the sleeves, you can sew a cuff or simply a hem.
This t-shirt is unisex and can be adorned with a ruffle at the raglan seam.
For this t-shirt, I recommend the usual size your child wears in stores.
The size fits up to the indicated height.

Supplies
From Newborn to 3 months:
- 35 cm of main fabric (in 140)
From 3 to 9 months:
- 40 cm of main fabric (in 140)
From 12 to 24 months:

- 45 cm of fabric for the top (in 140)
For all sizes:
- 10 cm of fabric for the sleeve cuff [option]
- 4 or 5 buttons or snaps (Ø 10mm or smaller)
- 30 cm of special knit fabric interfacing [option]
- Matching thread
Fabric choice
The Renardeau T-shirt is designed to be sewn in a thin and stretchy fabric, such as jersey or polo knit. If your fabric is very thin and relatively fragile, I advise you to iron on interfacing on the button plackets.
Cuffs are offered in the pattern, I advise you to sew them in the same type of fabric, but in a contrasting color.

The Renardeau T-shirt is perfectly suited for sewing beginners! As for the raglan version, it is reserved for intermediate level (hence the indicated level 3/5). However, the various diagrams found in the booklet as well as the video tutorial available on the YouTube channel will guide you during the making of your t-shirt and you will succeed without any trouble!
