Xylo is a pattern for shorts or trousers for girls, available from 2 to 16 years old, with multiple options allowing for about fifty variations.

The trousers have straight, long, and quite wide legs.

The elasticated waistband and the faux fly allow for easy and quick dressing. The waist can be topped with a frill. The belt loops are wide, and you can add a tie belt in contrasting fabric.

You can add optional pockets: at the front, pockets that extend into belt loops, and at the back, patch or carpenter pockets.

Three hem styles are offered for the shorts: simple hem, turned-up hem, or scalloped hem.

Depending on the options chosen, this model is more or less easy to sew. Take your time to perfect the finishing!
