Goélette Trousers — Lot of Things

Goélette is a wide-leg sailor-style trouser with a soft, slightly retro silhouette. Depending on the fabric you choose, it can have a fluid drape or a more structured line.

Women's sewing pattern in sizes 34 to 48. Side length in size 40: 105 cm. Intermediate level; estimated sewing time: 4 hours. The construction lets you practise techniques including facings, the crotch seam and patch pockets.

Supplies

• 140 cm-wide woven fabric: 2.15 m for sizes 34 to 40; 2.50 m for sizes 42 to 48. Linen, canvas, Tencel, gabardine, denim, twill or corduroy, depending on the look you want.
• Fusible interfacing: 30 cm.
• 15 to 20 mm buttons: 13 for sizes 34 and 36; 15 for sizes 38 to 48. You can use fewer depending on the finish you prefer.

The paper pattern version includes the printed pattern, an instruction booklet and a Lot of Things label.
