Aïs is the versatile and ultra-comfortable trousers that will accompany you just as well during your festive moments with shimmering knits as during your relaxing days in homewear mode. With its high waist (just right), Aïs is fitted down to the lower hips, before slightly widening to offer a nice volume and subtle movement at the lower leg. The waist is adorned with a belt; you can add belt loops or even a false fly to give your trousers a smarter look and less casual feel.
Finally, the pattern includes a line to transform the trousers into shorts, perfect for summer. Aïs is a quick and adaptable project, perfect for having fun with knits.

Aïs is tight-fitting trousers from the waist down to mid-thigh. Thus, to choose the size to sew, take into account your waist and hip measurements. Choose the larger size.
If you are between two sizes, choose the larger size.

If you want a less tight fit and wider legs, you can size up.

It is always best to make a test garment to determine the desired fit.

From size 44 to 52    
     – 200 cm of fabric (at 140 cm width)

Required haberdashery
In addition to the fabric, you will need:
– 1 m of soft and thin elastic

Aïs must be sewn in a knit fabric with at least 30% elasticity. You can choose cotton or viscose jersey, ribbed knits, or stretch velvets. Depending on the desired effect, opt for a more or less fluid knit.
