Ocelot is the winter coat that combines warmth, comfort, and style, with no compromises.
Designed to accompany your daily life, it features a slightly oversized cut that allows layering while maintaining a modern, relaxed, and elegant look.

Fully lined, Ocelot focuses on clean, structured lines, enhanced by refined details.
It closes with a discreet zipper, hidden under an asymmetrical buttoned flap, for a sleek and contemporary finish.
Its adjustable collar adapts to your mood: folded down for a chic and timeless style, or raised and secured by a removable cold-protection flap to keep you warm.

The raglan sleeves offer optimal comfort and fit all body shapes, while the pockets integrate elegantly into the front seams.
At the cuffs, adjustable tabs allow you to modify the volume as you wish, because often it’s the details that make all the difference.

The cold-protection flap can even be worn on the back for an original and graphic effect.

Ocelot is a project accessible to motivated beginners.
The coat requires time and patience but presents no particular technical difficulty : each step has been designed to be completed calmly, with neat and rewarding finishes.

By sewing Ocelot, you will learn to:
Install a zipper under a buttoned flap
 Sew a fully lined coat
Work on a collar with a collar stand
 Create raglan sleeves
 Sew pockets into a seam

Ocelot is a coat with a rather oversized cut.
So, to choose the size to sew, consider your bust measurement. If you are between two sizes, choose the closest size, or even the size below if you don’t want a too loose fit. If your hip measurement corresponds to a size larger than your bust, the garment’s ease means you probably won’t need to grade between sizes.

Supplies

From 32 to 44 : 215 cm of fabric (140 cm wide) and 130 cm of lining (140 cm wide)
From 45 to 52: 255 cm of fabric (140 cm wide) and 160 cm of lining (140 cm wide)

Add 35 cm of fabric and lining if you want to sew the Aurora Hood in the same fabrics

All versions: in addition to the fabric, you will need:
• 1 separating zipper (50 cm)

Ocelot is designed to be sewn in a woven fabric of weight suitable for coat sewing, ideally at least 350 g/m², offering structure, warmth, and a nice drape.
Choose materials suitable for winter: woolen cloth, boiled wool, wool/polyester blends, thick gabardine, tweed, pea coat fabric, etc.

For the lining, choose a slippery lining, ideally satin. If you prefer a fabric with a drier drape for the body lining, make sure to keep a slippery lining for the sleeve lining.

You can play with contrasts by using a second fabric for the collar stand, the cold-protection flap, the sleeve tabs, or the front bodice seam.

For a softer version or a more “furry” look, you can also opt for faux furs or sherpa, making sure to choose a sufficiently stable material for a nice finish.
