Tina is a fairly short jacket pattern, bolero style, to wear in casual mode!

2 patch pockets are available that you can place vertically or obliquely on the jacket:

Otherwise, the jacket is fully bound and very quick to sew since it is made up of only 2 pattern pieces!


WHICH SIZE DO I CHOOSE?

SIZES:
The Tina jacket pattern ranges from size 34 to size 46.

Choose your size as usual based on your measurements and the size chart.

If you hesitate between 2 sizes, choose the larger one because it is easier to adjust a garment than to enlarge it! It is especially very easy to take in the underarm seam to adjust the jacket a bit if necessary.

HEIGHT: The pattern is designed for a height of 1.65m 

If you need to lengthen or shorten the pattern, the adjustment lines are specified on the pattern. The sleeves should simply be lengthened by extending the sleeve hem lines.

For my height of 1.60m, I shortened the jacket length by 2cm.

RECOMMENDED FABRICS:

  • Fabrics for medium to heavy weight jackets (200 to 400g/m2) as long as the fabric retains some flexibility.
  • Works very well with jacquard and quilted fabrics.

Recommended yardage for fabrics 110cm or 140cm wide

FABRICS with 110cm width: T34 and T36: 175 cm / T38 to T46: 190 cm

FABRICS with 140cm width: T34 to T38: 150 cm / T40 and T42: 60 cm / T44: 170 cm / T46: 180 cm

Other supplies:

You can choose to bind only the outer seams of the jacket but also the inner seams.
In each case, the length of bias needed (in meters) is given below:

Outer bias: T34: 3.7m / T36: 3.8m / T38: 3.9m / T40: 4m / T42: 4m / T44: 4.1m / T46: 4.2m

Inner bias: T34 to 38: 3.5m / T40 to 44: 3.6m / T46: 3.7m

TOTAL BIAS:
T34: 7.2m / T36: 7.3m / T38: 7.4m / T40: 7.5m / T42: 7.6m / T44: 7.8m / T46: 7.9m
