The Faon Overalls are a perfectly suited model for toddlers, easy to put on and comfortable to wear, they will delight both parents and child! 
These overalls are unisex and can be adorned with a ruffle on the pocket.
They are worn with a little top underneath, for example a Renardeau T-shirt 
They can be sewn in different fabrics to be worn throughout the year and changing seasons.
Diaper changes are made easier with the snap fasteners at the crotch. Of course, baby is comfortable with a gusset for the diaper.
These overalls are a unisex model.

For these overalls, I recommend the usual size your child wears in stores.
The size fits up to the indicated height.

Supplies

From newborn to 3 months:

  • 55 cm of main fabric (at 140 cm width)

From 3 to 9 months:

  • 65 cm of main fabric (at 140 cm width)

From 12 to 24 months:

    • 75 cm of fabric for the top (at 140 cm width)

For all sizes:

  • 25 cm of fabric for the lining (at 140 cm width)
  • 15 cm of ribbing or other stretchy fabric
  • 11 to 13 buttons or snaps (Ø 10mm or smaller)
  • 30 cm of special knit fabric interfacing [option]
  • Matching thread

Recommended fabrics

The Faon Overalls should be sewn from a stretchy fabric with some body and suitable for babies. However, the fabric does not need to have a high elasticity rate. I recommend sewing these overalls in sweatshirt fabric, fleece, french terry, or textured jersey.
The top of the overalls is lined; it is preferable to use jersey for the lining to avoid adding too much thickness to your garment. One of the two crotch bands is to be cut from this same fabric.
Finally, you will need a third fabric for the pocket and the leg cuffs. You can use ribbing or jersey, it can be the same as the one used for the lining.

The Faon Overalls are suitable for motivated beginners who take their time and follow the booklet instructions! It is preferable to have already sewn a few pieces, especially in knit fabric, but the various diagrams in the booklet as well as the video tutorial available on the YouTube channel will guide you during the making of your little one's overalls!
