The Elo top, just as nice in knit as in woven fabric, is 100% sewing pleasure! Easy and quick to make, it can be worn on all occasions. In a light voile for a beach outfit, in black lace for a more sophisticated look… it’s up to you. In any case, it will be the little summer top to take everywhere in your suitcase!

SIZES : Pattern sheet ranging from size 34 to 50, corresponding to a bust circumference from 81 to 116 cm. 

FABRIC: You can make the Elo top in both woven fabric and knit fabric. The top will be perfect in lightweight fabrics such as viscose, linen, cotton voile, light jersey…

DIFFICULTY : All sewing levels

DETAIL:

• Top to be made in knit or woven fabric
• In knit fabric, the top is finished with a T-shirt style neckline
• In woven fabric, the neckline is finished with a bias
• Optional vertical topstitching to close or not the top under the arm
• Seam allowances are included and are 7mm

FINISHED GARMENT MEASUREMENTS: the measurements given in the table below can also help you choose your size depending on whether you like to wear your clothes fitted or rather loose:

CENTER BACK HEIGHT: this is a good indicator to know if you need to lengthen or shorten a pattern. Compare the center back height given in the table below with a garment you like:

Recommended yardage for a fabric width of 140cm:

• 170 cm regardless of the size made

Other supplies:

• If you sew a knit version, you need nothing more than thread!
• For a woven version, you need a bias strip (for finishing the neckline) whose length depends on the size made. You can buy the bias or make it from your fabric scraps:
