It is perfect for starting your first shirt.

Poplin, liberty, viscose, canvas or other fluid fabric will be perfectly suited to your Amourette shirt.

You can also try it in silk or lace.

One of our Amourettes is in white cotton poplin, the other is in printed 100% cotton.

Fabrics: (Yardage on a 140cm width)

Size 48 to 52: 290cm
Size 54 to 58: 300cm

Fusible interfacing: 10cm

Haberdashery: 2 buttons 11mm

Fabric advice / Warp and weft: Let yourself be tempted by many fabrics from the most fluid to the thickest (but not too much). Cotton, viscose, poplin… for a light Amourette. Denim, velour, twill for a more structured Amourette 😉

Sewing ideas: Feel free to lengthen your Amourette shirt and add a belt to transform it into a dress.
