Nikko is a set of patterns for making 6 bathroom and travel accessories: a headband and wrist cuffs, a reusable wipe, a soap pouch, storage bags in three sizes and a travel organiser.
Headband and wrist cuffs, wipe and soap pouch : quick and easy to sew, with one section made from an absorbent fabric such as towelling.
Storage bags with a casing, drawstrings and French seams.
Travel organiser in a compact size for many uses: a toiletry bag, make-up bag, knitting-needle organiser or pencil case. It has zipped pockets and compartments, folds into three, fastens with ties or a button, and can be hung up.
Useful accessories for everyday life or travelling, and easy to sew.

Fabrics & supplies
- Headband / wrist cuffs / wipe / soap pouch - Fabric 1: poplin, seersucker, chambray, washed linen, quilted fabric or lightweight gabardine. Fabric 2: towelling or waffle fabric. Optional: woven fusible interfacing or thin fusible fleece (except for the wrist cuffs).
- Storage bags- Fabrics 1 and 2: poplin, seersucker, chambray, washed linen, lightweight gabardine, quilted fabric, mesh or fine nylon fabric.
- Travel organiser - Fabrics 1 and 2: poplin, seersucker, chambray, washed linen, canvas or gabardine, quilted fabric or fine nylon fabric. Fabric 3 (lining): poplin, seersucker or chambray. Fusible fleece.
- Headband : hook-and-loop fastening, 3 x 7 cm.
- Wrist cuffs : elastic, 4 cm wide
- Soap pouch : cotton twill tape, 1 or 2 cm wide (option 1), or thin round elastic cord and a 15 mm button (option 2).
- Storage bags : cotton twill tape, 1 or 2 cm wide, or round or flat cord.

Travel organiser : 2 closed-end nylon zips, 4 mm wide. For the fastening: cotton twill tape, 1 or 2 cm wide (option 1), or thin round elastic cord and a 15 mm button (option 2). For the flap pull tab: twill tape, 1 cm wide.
- The requirements for fabrics 1, 2 and 3 apply to fabric widths from 110 to 140 cm.
To make the complete headband + wrist cuffs + wipe + soap pouch set
- , you will need a total of 35 cm of fabric 1, 35 cm of fabric 2 and 45 cm of interfacing. Interfacing is only needed if fabric 2 is thin and stretchy. Otherwise, do not interface it.
- Optionally, the soap pouch can be sewn with a waterproof fabric such as PUL between the layers. In that case, allow a 30 x 20 cm rectangle.
