PDF sewing pattern – Jacket and cardigan Raven – Instinct Couture – sizes 32 to 52 – FR

Raven, designed by Instinct Couture for the Willow collection, comes as an unlined cropped jacket or a knitted-fabric cardigan. Pleats at the front, dropped shoulders and long sleeves finished with wide cuffs give it volume.

• Round neckline or Peter Pan collar.
• Button fastening down the front and optional patch pockets.
• Buttoned cuffs with a reinforced sleeve placket for the jacket; closed cuffs for the knitted cardigan.
• Contrasting fabric can be used for the collar, pockets and cuffs.

Downloadable PDF sewing pattern, with no physical item or shipping. Sewing instructions in French, printing instructions in French and English, a storage cover sheet, an A0 pattern sheet, edge-to-edge A4, A4 with borders and two projector files (black and white, and pink). Pattern sheets include size layers. Seam allowances are included: 1 cm unless otherwise stated.

Fabrics and notions

Jacket version: a structured woven fabric such as denim, gabardine, corduroy, linen or tweed. Cardigan version: a substantial knit, fleece, sweatshirt fabric or knitted material. Poplin facings are recommended for the knit version or thick fabrics.

Fabric requirements for 140 cm width:

• Sizes 32 to 42: 145 cm without collar; 160 cm with collar.
• Sizes 44 to 52: 190 cm for all versions.
• 60 cm of lightweight fusible interfacing.
• 5 buttons of 20 mm for the knit cardigan; 7 buttons for the woven jacket.

Choosing your size

Use your bust measurement and choose the closest size. For knit fabrics with more than approximately 30% stretch, choose one size smaller. Adjust the height and sleeve length if necessary.
