In the BG family here is The Elegant.
It is a shirt that will appeal to today's men.
Worn with or without a tie, it will find a special place in the gentleman's wardrobe.

It is a rather fitted shirt but we offer you two options to make it either more fitted (thanks to the darts at the back) or looser (thanks to the flat pleat in the middle of the back).

3 versions to choose from included in this pattern:

  • a fitted cut with 2 darts at the back;
  • a version without darts for a bit more ease;
  • a comfortable fit with a flat pleat at the top of the back for more fullness on the lower part.

Pattern in full size ready to trace or cut from S to XXL. Carefully packed in a reusable translucent printed.
Seam allowances are not included.

Supplies to plan for

– 1.70 m of fabric with a width of 140 cm (or 2.20 m with a width of 110 cm).
Of course, you will need to take pattern matching into account if your fabric has motifs, in order to establish some symmetry.
– 50 cm of medium fusible interfacing, preferably woven (depending on the thickness of your fabric).
– 9 buttons from 10 to 12 mm
