Hussard trousers / denim jeans from Maison Fauve - size 34 to 52 (French and English)

A jean was needed in the Maison Fauve wardrobe. Its high-waisted cut fits the hips well, leaves the thigh comfortable, and tapers at the ankle to avoid shortening but rather elongate while maintaining comfort. And as usual, the Maison Fauve touch: the very pretty pleats that adorn the pockets.

The Pattern Hussard grade from 34 to 52.

Sewing level : advanced. The technical points are the fly and the waistband.

For a fabric width of 140 cm:
- For sizes 34-40, 150 cm is needed 
- For sizes 42-46, 180 cm is needed 
- For sizes 48-52, 210 cm is needed 
- The pocket bags are cut from a lining fabric 30x70 cm
- Fusible interfacing
- An 18 cm non-separable zipper
- A button 15 to 20 mm
- A length of bias tape, the quantity of which will be chosen based on the waist circumference 

There are many topstitched areas on your trousers; for a "jean" style, do not hesitate to use a contrasting thread.

The Pattern is designed for a fabric without elastane such as denim, a suit-type wool suitable for sewing trousers, cotton twill, jacquard. If you want to sew the garment in a fabric that contains a little elastane, do not exceed 2% elastic fiber in the composition and sew the waist below.
