Jogging trousers made of ultra comfortable and stylish sweatshirt fabric

Straight cut.
Elasticated waist for quick dressing.
Tapered cuffs.
2 pockets at the front.
Optional patches applied on the knees.
Ribbing at the waistband and at the leg cuffs.
The ribbing can be replaced by the main fabric on the right or wrong side.
A stylish basic very easy to make.

Size range: 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12 years
Suggested fabrics:

- Main fabric 1: Terry jersey (sweatshirt fabric) in cotton or cotton elastane, plain or printed

- Fabric 2 - piece of lightweight jersey (from an old T-shirt for example) for the pocket bag (to avoid bulk)

- Fabric 3 - Thick cotton or cotton elastane ribbing for the waistband and leg cuffs. Tone on tone or contrasting with fabric 1.

Supplies

• Soft elastic 3 cm wide for the waistband
• Lightweight fusible interfacing (5x2 cm) if buttonholes on the waistband
• Double-sided fusible web (type ©Vliesofix) for knee patches H15 x W20 cm or ready-made patches.
• Flat cord for the waistband optional: 1 metre
