My jersey or pointelle T-shirt on the sewing machine: I learn all the techniques for perfect finishes!

You have always dreamed of knowing how to sew jersey t-shirts but haven’t dared to start... you don’t have an overlocker and don’t want to invest in one? ... No worries, sewing jersey is also possible with a sewing machine, and we help you create your first pieces with flawless finishes that only a sewing machine can provide!

Prerequisites for this course:
- know how to use a sewing machine and have sewn at least one garment (participation in the course: I discover sewing and sew my first garment or equivalent experience)

During these 2 sessions of 3 hours each, you will learn:

• key points for sewing jersey with a sewing machine (equipment, stitch, needles...)
• the different types of jersey and their elasticity (how to measure it...)
• finishes: neckline band and length calculation
• how to make a clean finish band
• lettuce hem
• scalloped hem

Together, we will make your first jersey or pointelle t-shirt, entirely sewn with a sewing machine.
You can choose a pattern from these three offered models:
- Honeygirl for pointelle
- Blandine by Iam Patterns
- Plantain by Deer and Doe

The course includes:

• 2 x 3-hour sewing sessions guided by an experienced instructor
• sewing on quality Janome Sewist 780 electronic machines
• provision of basic materials: scissors, pins, thread…
• the t-shirt pattern
• smiles, kindness, and respect for everyone

Our courses are held in our workshop at:
