My first lined and zipped handbag!
Want to add a trendy and practical piece to your wardrobe?
Then why not make a pretty lined and zipped bag with us? This bag is super practical because it has pockets and space to find everything in no time!
Together we will learn:
- how to properly cut the pattern pieces
- how to sew a zipper and attach zipper by the meter
- how to sew pockets and compartments
- how to place the lining
- how to make neat straps
- how to attach adjustment buckles
The prerequisites for this course are to know how to use a sewing machine, to have already sewn some projects (thickness, zipper...), to have already used a pattern. (intermediate level)
People who have taken the course "I sew my first garment" or other intermediate level workshops are welcome to this themed workshop.
English speakers are welcome! Likewise, teenagers are welcome for this course.
If you have any doubt about your level, do not hesitate to contact me beforehand.
You will receive the pattern in PDF format one week before the workshop; it will be necessary to prepare your pattern at home (rest assured it is easy 😀) to start the workshop directly.
We invite people who do not have supplies to make their bag to come 20 minutes before the course at the shop so as to have everything needed to start the course calmly.
The group is made up of a maximum of 6 students.
The course includes:
- 1 X 2h30 cutting the pattern and beginning sewing (placing zipper and pockets)
- 1 X 2h30 sewing the project and finishing techniques
- the bag pattern in PDF format sent directly by email
- use of sewing machines and overlock machine (depending on your level)
- provision of basic materials: scissors, pins, black or white overlock thread…
- smiles, kindness, and respect for everyone
- unlimited drinks offered
Not included: the bag fabric and hardware

For the first course, it is necessary to come with washed and ironed fabric. Do not hesitate to contact me or visit the shop the week before the course for the required yardage.
