In this 2h30 workshop, we will create technical samples to learn the best methods to sew in:
- bias tape on the fold
- bias tape flat
- double-fold bias tape
- in a circle

We will cover the following points:

  • Recognize the different types of bias tape suitable for your creations (material, size, etc.) according to the desired visual effect for your project, considering the advantages and disadvantages of each.
  • Application techniques

You will leave with your samples to guide you in your future projects.

Prerequisite: from beginner initiated level (knowing how to use the machine in a straight line, make a backstitch...)
This workshop is suitable for those discovering sewing as well as more experienced people who want to expand their knowledge and achieve beautiful finishes.

The course includes:

  • 1 x 2h30 of sewing accompanied by an experienced instructor
  • sewing on quality Janome Sewist 780 electronic machines
  • provision of basic materials: scissors, pins, thread…
  • materials needed for the technical projects (bias tape, fabrics, and threads)
  • smiles, kindness, and respect for everyone
  • Unlimited drinks
