Technical Module: All About the Zipper! (Level 1)
The zipper, the zip, the slide fastener... that essential item that can be intimidating! Yet with a bit of explanation, technique, and patience, placing our zipper pull becomes child's play!
Want to install zippers (neatly) in your projects without any hassle?
Then the technical course: All About Zippers is made for you!
In this 3-hour workshop, we will create technical samples to learn the best methods to sew:
- a visible zipper
- an invisible zipper
- a hidden edge-to-edge zipper
We will cover the following points:
- Knowing the right type of zipper to use, depending on the desired visual effect for your project, considering the advantages and disadvantages of each.
- The sewing machine feet useful for sewing zippers, whether the conventional foot for this purpose or the one for invisible zippers.
You will leave with your samples to guide you in your future projects.
