Model making: Pattern modification - module 1

Can't find what you're looking for in commercial patterns? Do you have a very specific idea in mind for the garment you want but can't find an existing pattern? Would you like to modify certain pattern designs?

The various topics covered in this module will teach you the basics of pattern modification so you can alter a base or an existing pattern.

Modify a pattern module 1:

Pleats
Seams

Move/transfer a clip in a skirt or bodice

Flounce, leg-of-mutton, balloon sleeves

Prerequisite: having already made more than ten garments of different types (top with clips, gathered sleeve, cuff, pleats, ...)

The course includes:

• 3 x 3-hour patternmaking sessions led by an experienced instructor
• Sewing on quality electronic machines Janome Sewist 780
• Provision of basic materials: scissors, pins, thread…
  
• Smiles, kindness, and respect for everyone

Our courses are held in our workshop at:
Either in Ixelles: Avenue de la couronne, 357 1050 Ixelles
Or in Woluwe Saint Lambert: Avenue Georges Henri, 328 1200 Woluwe Saint Lambert
