Have you taken the "Discover Sewing" course and/or do you have some basic sewing skills and want to refresh what you've learned? Looking for a straightforward first garment before moving on to a first sewing Pattern and the "Sew My First Garment" cycle? Come and sew a straight skirt or a circle skirt that will allow you to make a flattering, joyful garment while building your sewing confidence!

During this single 4-hour session, we will sew a straight or circle skirt together that fastens at the waist with tie straps. This way, the garment will fit your waist perfectly, whatever your preferences or size variations.

The course includes:

1 session of 4 hours of class guided by an experienced teacher

Guidance on choosing the fabric that suits you best based on your wishes and skill level

The basic formula for the straight skirt or circle skirt

Sewing on high-quality electronic Janome Sewist 780 sewing machines and Juki Kirei sergers

Use of basic equipment: scissors, pins, thread, Japanese ruler, needles...

A warm smile, kindness, and respect for everyone

Required level for this course: this course is aimed at beginners who want to consolidate their initial sewing skills (cutting fabric, laying out Pattern pieces on fabric, operating a sewing machine...) or more experienced sewists looking to enjoy a lovely sewing moment with us.

Unsure about your level? Feel free to contact me via email at eugenie@cestdujoly.be or visit us at the shop, we will be delighted to advise you.
