Would you like to sew an original piece for your wardrobe?
Then why not a lovely lined, quilted jacket!

Together we will learn:

  • how to choose the fabric for your jacket
  • how to understand the jacket pattern
  • how to choose a suitable lining
  • how to cut the fabric according to the pattern and print
  • how to sew your jacket
  • how to adapt the finishing techniques to your sewing level

The prerequisite for this course is knowing how to use a sewing machine. Anyone who has taken the ‘discovering sewing’ or ‘sewing my first garment’ course is welcome at this themed workshop.

The group has a maximum of 6 students.

The course includes:

  • 1 x 2 hours and 30 minutes of technical explanations, cutting and preparing the pattern pieces and overcasting the edges
  • 2 x 2 hours and 30 minutes of sewing your project
  • Use of sewing machines and an overlocker (depending on your level)
  • Basic equipment provided: scissors, pins, black or white overlocker thread…
  • smiles, kindness and respect for everyone

Not included: jacket fabric and matching thread
We offer quilted fabrics in several colours for this workshop. You need to choose your fabric in the shop before the course so that it is washed and ready for the workshop.
Feel free to contact me or visit the shop to discuss the amount of fabric needed for your size and the width of your chosen fabric.

Our courses take place in our workshop at:
Either in Ixelles: Avenue de la couronne, 357 1050 Ixelles
Or in Woluwe Saint Lambert: Avenue Georges Henri, 328 1200 Woluwe Saint Lambert
