Sewing – My quilted travel bag

Fancy learning how to quilt? Creating a practical and fun accessory? Why not come and make a lovely quilted pouch for your holidays or to slip in your accessories, pencils...?

The prerequisites for this course are to have an intermediate (minimum having taken the "I discover sewing" course / knowing how to use the sewing machine, pin, cut...) to advanced level, as we can adapt the level of finishing for this project. 

During these 2 course sessions of 2h30, you will learn how to:

• properly interface the fabric pieces
  
• quilt
• sew a zip (classic or by the metre / single or double sliders depending on your level)
• sew a zip tab finish
• make pockets (depending on your level)
• line the pouch properly
• create perfect pouch corners!

We will complete this entire project together, and you will leave with your finished piece at the end of the second session. 

 The course includes:

• 2 x 2h30 of sewing guided by an experienced teacher
• sewing on high-quality Janome Sewist 780 electronic machines
• use of basic equipment: scissors, pins, thread…

Our courses take place in our workshop at:
Either in Ixelles: Avenue de la couronne, 357 1050 Ixelles
