My favorite dress: I sew Alix or Linger
Do you want to sew a beautiful dress for an event or simply for everyday life?
Do you want it to fit you like a glove, perfectly tailored to your body shape?
Do you want to learn techniques like lining, button placket, ...
Then let's sew and adjust your perfect dress together!
Two models are offered:
- Alix by Cha Coud: intermediate level - size 34 to 52
- Linger by Maison Fauve: beginner level - size 34 to 52
If you are outside the size chart, feel free to contact us 😊
We will learn together:
- the dress finishes (sheath, lining, ...)
- pattern adjustment
- the specific techniques for sewing these two models
- And above all, we will sew your perfect dress together
The prerequisite for this course is to have already sewn a garment with a sewing machine.
The group consists of a maximum of 6 students.
The course includes:
- 4 sessions of 2h30 each with technical explanations, tests and pattern preparation, sewing a bodice in toile, and sewing the final garment
- Use of quality electronic sewing machines Janome Sewist 780 and Juki Kirei overlocker
- Provision of basic materials: scissors, pins, black or white overlocker thread…
- the printed pattern of the dress and toile for the bodice
- smiles, kindness, and respect for everyone
Our courses are held in our workshop at:
Either in Ixelles: Avenue de la couronne, 357 1050 Ixelles
Or in Woluwe Saint Lambert: Avenue Georges Henri, 328 1200 Woluwe Saint Lambert

- Train (Etterbeek station) - 5 minutes walk
- Tram 8 (ULB stop) - 15 minutes on foot or transfer to Bus 71 to Ixelles cemetery
- Metro 5 (Delta stop) - 15 minutes on foot or transfer to Bus 71 to Ixelles cemetery
Getting to the Woluwe workshop by public transport:
- Tram 7 or 25 (George Henri stop) - 4 min walk
- Metro 1 (Joséphine Charlotte stop) - 9 min walk

- Metro 1 or 5 (Mérode stop) - 12 min walk
- Train (Mérode stop) - 12 min walk
- Train (Etterbeek station) then take the connection with tram 7 towards Heyzel or tram 25 towards Roger to George Henri stop - 4 min walk
- Train (Central Station) then take the connection with metro 1 towards Stockel to Joséphine Charlotte stop - 9 min walk
