Looking for a timeless dress, easy to sew and suitable for all body types?
Look no further! We offer it to you!
It is a jersey dress tied on the side that you can wear both for special occasions and everyday life!

The pattern is available from size XXS to 6XL (81 to 152cm bust circumference) in a long version (with slit) or short version.

You can sew it with an overlocker and/or a sewing machine depending on your preferences and/or skill level.
You will learn how to assemble the dress, create the side knot, and achieve beautiful finishes on the jersey, especially the hems.

The courses include:

  • 2 x 3-hour sewing sessions accompanied by an experienced instructor
  • Sewing on high-quality electronic Janome Sewist 780 machines and Juki Kirei overlockers
  • Provision of basic materials: scissors, pins, thread…
  • Materials needed to make your first three projects
  • Smiles, kindness, and respect for everyone

For the first course, we ask you to have prepared the pattern, which will be sent to you the week before the workshop (for printing and size selection), and to have washed and ironed your jersey.
We will start the workshop by cutting the fabric pieces.

Fabric requirements:
Size XXS to S: short version: 1.6m - long version 2m
Size M and L: short version: 1.8m - long version 2.3m
Size XL: short version: 2.2m - long version 2.5m
Size 2 and 3XL: short version: 2.2m - long version 3m
Size > 3XL: short version: 2.9m - long version 3.9m

Our courses are held in our workshop at:
Either in Ixelles: Avenue de la Couronne, 357 1050 Ixelles
Or in Woluwe Saint Lambert: Avenue Georges Henri, 328 1200 Woluwe Saint Lambert

  • Bus 71 (Ixelles Cemetery stop) - 5 minutes walk
  • Tram 7 or 25 (Etterbeek station stop) - 5 minutes walk
  • Train (Etterbeek station) - 5 minutes walk
  • Tram 8 (ULB stop) - 15 minutes on foot or transfer to Bus 71 to Ixelles Cemetery
  • Metro 5 (Delta stop) - 15 minutes on foot or transfer to Bus 71 to Ixelles Cemetery

Getting to the Woluwe workshop by public transport:

  • Tram 7 or 25 (George Henri stop) - 4 minutes on foot
  • Metro 1 (Joséphine Charlotte stop) - 9 minutes on foot
  • Metro 1 (Montgomery stop) - 9 minutes on foot
  • Metro 1 or 5 (Mérode stop) - 12 minutes on foot
  • Train (Mérode stop) - 12 minutes on foot
  • Train (Etterbeek station) then take the connection with tram 7 towards Heyzel or tram 25 towards Roger to George Henri stop - 4 minutes on foot
