John Henry Dar (1860-1932)

John Henry Dearle (22 August 1859 - 15 January 1932) was a British designer of textiles and stained glass trained by the artist and craftsman William Morris, who was greatly influenced by the Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood. Dearle designed many wallpapers and textiles later published by Morris & Co. and contributed to the creation of background and foliage patterns for tapestries featuring figures by Edward Burne-Jones and others. Cross-stitch one of his flower and foliage designs. Complete kit.
