Have you recently started using circular needles and want to start your first sweater with them? Do you want to start your first knitted garment? We designed this workshop for you. We will knit your first sweater together! Whether you want to knit it for yourself, another adult, or a child. Grab your needles!

The prerequisites for this course are basic knitting skills: casting on and binding off stitches loosely, knit stitch and purl stitch

During this 10-hour course, you will learn:

      to discover or practice mastering circular needles

      to knit a seamless sweater in the round, from the collar down

      to use your gauge swatch

      to knit short rows

      to knit left- and right-leaning increase stitches

      to knit stripes if you want to knit some

      to pick up stitches neatly

Please note, technical stitches will be discovered and practiced during the sessions. Part of the knitting will need to be done at home.

The course includes:

- 10 hours of courses spread over 4 sessions with an experienced teacher

- smiles, kindness, and respect for everyone

- unlimited drinks offered

The course does not include yarn and needles 
Additionally, a kit is offered to you at a reasonable price:
- child kit: 5 skeins of Fonty super tweed yarn
- adult kit: 10 skeins of Fonty super tweed yarn

The recommended yarn for this workshop is Fonty's super tweed. It is knitted with size 5 needles with a gauge of 17 stitches and 25 rows for 10 cm.

Possibility to change yarns, please consult us before the course.

  • Train (Etterbeek station) then take the connection with tram 7 towards Heyzel or tram 25 towards Roger until the George Henri stop - 4 minutes on foot
