Have you always dreamed of learning to knit but never dared to start? Can't get your stitches on the needle and the instructions seem like gibberish? Then this introductory knitting course is made for you!

Marie-Hélène and Chloé, our knitting experts, will teach you the basics of knitting with circular needles to create your first project!

No prerequisites for this course, we start with the basics so you develop the right habits and methods from the very beginning of your knitting journey.

During these 2 sessions of 2.5 hours each, you will learn:

  • the types of necessary materials
  • how to use the basic materials
  • how to cast on your first stitches
  • how to knit your first basic stitches
  • and above all, how to complete your first project

The course includes:

  • 2 x 2.5 hours of knitting guided by an experienced instructor who can explain for both right- and left-handed knitters 😊
  • provision of basic materials: needles, stitch markers, and yarn
  • the materials needed to make your first projects
  • smiles, kindness, and respect for everyone

Our courses are held in our workshop at:
Either in Ixelles: Avenue de la Couronne, 357 1050 Ixelles
Or in Woluwe Saint Lambert: Avenue Georges Henri, 328 1200 Woluwe Saint Lambert

Getting to the Ixelles workshop by public transport:

  • Bus 95 (Thys stop) - less than 1 minute walk
  • Bus 71 (Ixelles Cemetery stop) - 5 minutes walk
  • Tram 7 or 25 (Etterbeek station stop) - 5 minutes walk
  • Train (Etterbeek station) - 5 minutes walk
  • Tram 8 (ULB stop) - 15 minutes on foot or transfer to Bus 71 to Ixelles Cemetery
  • Metro 5 (Delta stop) - 15 minutes on foot or transfer to Bus 71 to Ixelles Cemetery

Getting to the Woluwe workshop by public transport:

  • Tram 7 or 25 (George Henri stop) - 4 minutes on foot
  • Metro 1 (Joséphine Charlotte stop) - 9 minutes on foot
  • Metro 1 (Montgomery stop) - 9 minutes on foot
  • Metro 1 or 5 (Mérode stop) - 12 minutes on foot
  • Train (Mérode stop) - 12 minutes on foot
  • Train (Etterbeek station) then transfer to tram 7 towards Heyzel or tram 25 towards Roger until George Henri stop - 4 minutes on foot
  • Train (Central Station) then transfer to metro 1 towards Stockel until Joséphine Charlotte stop - 9 minutes on foot
