Sewing – I discover the overlocker and sew my first t-shirt
Would you like to discover how to use an overlocker and sew knit fabrics? Perhaps you have already bought one, but don't dare to use it on your own?
Then the course "I discover the overlocker and sew my first project" is made for you!
Together we will learn:
- What are the main features of an overlocker
- How to thread it?
- The precautions to take when using it
- The differences between knit fabrics
- And above all, we will sew your first t-shirt together!
The prerequisite for this course is to have already sewn a garment with a sewing machine.
You do not need to have used an overlocker before for this course; we start from the basics so that you have the right habits and methods right from your first steps on this machine.
Together we will make a t-shirt that you will take home with you at the end of the second course
The group consists of a maximum of 6 students.
The course includes:
- 1 x 3h of technical explanations, tests and Pattern preparation
- 1 x 3h of sewing the project (basic t-shirt - choice of women's or men's model)
- The use of 3 Juki overlockers and one Brother
- The provision of basic equipment: scissors, pins, black or white overlocker thread…
- A warm smile, kindness, and respect for everyone
Price: €99
