I discover the overlock sewing machine and sew my first T-shirt
Would you like to discover how to use the overlocker and sew knit fabrics? Perhaps you have already bought one but do not dare to use it alone?
Then the course "I discover the overlocker and sew my first project" is made for you!
We will learn together:
- What are the main functions of an overlocker
- How to thread it?
- Precautions to take when using it
- The differences between knit fabrics
- And above all, we will sew your first t-shirt together!
The prerequisites for this course are to have already sewn a garment with a sewing machine.
It is not necessary to have already used an overlocker for this course; we start with the basics so that you develop the right habits and methods from the start on this machine.
We will make a t-shirt together that you will take home at the end of the second lesson.
The group is made up of a maximum of 6 students.
The course includes:
- 1 session of 3 hours of technical explanations, tests, and pattern preparation
- 1 session of 3 hours of sewing the project (basic t-shirt - lady or gentleman model of your choice)
- The use of 3 Juki overlockers and one Brother
- Provision of basic materials: scissors, pins, black or white overlocker thread...
- Smiles, kindness, and respect for everyone
