Do you love wearing a nice thick, warm and soft knit? Brioche will fill you with happiness! This advanced knitting technique allows you to create relief works with two yarns to have an airy and very original knit. Come with us to discover a new field of possibilities in knitting!

The prerequisites for this course are to have a good mastery of knitting basics (knit and purl stitch, yarn over, slipped stitch, increase, decrease, cast on and bind off, use of circular needles).  

During this 2-hour course, you will learn:

  • Basic brioche techniques
  • Using circular needles in a way specific to brioche
  • Knitting the basic stitch and some variations
  •  Reading your work
  • Increases and decreases
  • Vocabulary and graphic signs specific to this technique (in French and English)

To discover the method, we will make a sample that will serve as a learning support and a reference tool for your future brioche knits.

The course includes:

  • 1 x 2h of courses accompanied by an experienced teacher
  • Yarns necessary for making the sample
  •  Provision of circular needles
  •  smile, kindness and respect for everyone
  •  unlimited drinks offered

  • Tram 7 or 25 (George Henri stop) - 4 min on foot
  • Metro 1 (Joséphine Charlotte stop) - 9 min on foot
  • Metro 1 (Montgomery stop) - 9 min on foot
  • Metro 1 or 5 (Mérode stop) - 12 min on foot
  • Train (Mérode stop) - 12 min on foot
  • Train (Etterbeek station) then take the connection with tram 7 direction Heyzel or tram 25 direction Roger until the George Henri stop - 4 min on foot
  • Train (Central Station) then take the connection with metro 1 direction Stockel until the Joséphine Charlotte stop - 9 mins on foot
